The Eygalières multimedia library is offering a ‘fox on a bike’ drawing workshop on Saturday 19 October from 10am to 12pm!
As part of the department's ‘Freewheeling’ programme, which has been awarded the Cultural Olympiad label (Paris 2024 Olympic Games).
Join us at the Médiathèque Charles Galtier on Saturday 19 October for a workshop with Floriane Ricard, children's illustrator.
A naïve and touching fox leaves his forest to discover the world and the city. He meets the warm-hearted community of cyclists and makes friends; then he embarks on an incredible and fantastic race, with imaginary stages under water or in space.
But cycling is also a race against others: whether you finish first or last, you finish alone... It's a thought-provoking book: can friendship flourish in competition? In the race of our lives, what does the winner receive?
Floriane Ricard will be inviting the children to take inspiration from this adventure and work on a participatory fresco to build new cycling adventures! The illustrator's magnificent techniques will put the spotlight on ecology and soft mobility.
