Discover the acrobatic show: La fabuleuse histoire de Basarkus on Friday 31 January at 6.30pm at the Alpilium.
This virtuoso and mischievous duo, a cross between circus and dance, explores the quest for identity with tenderness and poetic movement.
A creature with two heads and many legs, Basarkus also has plenty of arms... From one adventure to the next, he rolls around endlessly. That's the way it's always been. He's happy as he is, in perfect harmony with himself. But when he discovers that he has two hearts, Basarkus wonders. What if there really were two of them?
The two circus artists, acrobat and juggler, are constantly building bridges between their arts, pushing dialogue to the limit. The universe is colourful and the images follow one another with ingenuity and humour. The discovery of oneself and of others, and the acceptance that follows, are approached
from a physical perspective. This is the circus at the service of the sensitive, tackling a highly humanist theme.
